We would ask you to be at the hospital no earlier than 10 minutes before your appointment. If you're earlier, please wait outside or in your car and don't come in sooner. We want to make sure there's not an unnecessarily large number of people in the hospital at the same time. This makes it easier to keep 1.5 metres apart.
We would also ask you to attend your hospital appointment alone. If this is not possible, you may have a maximum of one person accompanying you.
One of our staff members will be there to meet you at the hospital entrance. The staff member will ask you (and anyone accompanying you) the reason for your visit and if you are suffering from fever, coughing and/or shortness of breath.
- If you have an appointment and have one or more of the above symptoms, you will be given a face mask and escorted to the outpatient clinic or ward.
- If you are accompanying or visiting a patient and you have one of the above symptoms, we will kindly ask you to leave the hospital.
- If you don't have any symptoms, you can proceed to your appointment or visit the patient without a mask.
- Even if you don't have any symptoms, you should clean your hands with the sanitiser provided. The hand sanitiser can be found at the entrance to the hospital, the outpatient clinics and the wards.
